Press Release (English) Honourable District and Sessions Judge Mardan Holds Camp Court at Central Prison Mardan Mardan, March 27, 2025 – Mr. Muhammad Zeb, Honourable District and Sessions Judge Mardan, along with Mr. Attaullah, Senior Civil Judge Mardan, conducted a Camp Court at Central Prison Mardan today. During the proceedings, the Honourable Judges heard numerous cases of under-trial prisoners and issued release orders for 12 prisoners on probation and 4 on personal bonds. The visit primarily focused on the Juvenile, Female, and Drug Addict sections of the prison. The judges also toured various parts of the jail, interacted with inmates, and listened to their grievances. Mr. Ikram, Senior Probation Officer Mardan, was also present during the visit. The Honourable Sessions Judge directed the Senior Civil Judge to convene a meeting of jail psychologists to formulate a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the release of inmates undergoing treatment at the Drug Rehabilitation Center of Central Prison Mardan. The initiative reflects the judiciary’s commitment to ensuring justice, rehabilitation, and the well-being of prisoners, especially vulnerable groups.
